Why should your business use social media? This training session combines a presentation and discussion to answer this question. This is an exciting and inspirational session, ideally attended by management, senior executives/directors and core employees. The aim is to provide an overview of social media for business, address why it is important to be involved and to ensure key stakeholder buy-in to the importance of social media as a business tool. This session covers the following:

  • Public behavior: how and why people use social networks.
  • How are businesses using social media and what are they gaining from it?
  • Social v traditional marketing/customer service/recruitment strategies
  • Examples of social media accounts from various industries
  • The importance of content
  • How to engage an audience
  • What tools are available and how they are best used by different organizations

What should we be doing? What should we be talking about online? This group training session incorporates a presentation, discussions and group activities to answer these questions and develop an online strategy to meet organizational objectives. Attendees will participate in strategy development and take ownership of the social media plan. This session includes the following:

  • Defining the organization’s online ‘personality’ and finding your voice
