Hello!

Social Media Expert on a mission to make the business world more social media savvy

About Social Brighton

Hi, I’m Kerry Watkins.

I started Social Brighton in 2009 whilst working as an Operations Manager in the hospitality industry. I have many years experience in training and development as well as general management and operations. 10 years ago I very much involved in marketing strategy and brand management at a time when social media appeared on the scene.

My business was born out of a passion for digital marketing and recognising the huge opportunities for businesses of all sizes who embraced social media.

I now design and deliver bespoke, in-house social media training workshops and run social media training courses in Brighton, London and Copenhagen, as well as consulting with a variety of organisations on social media strategy, delivery and analysis.

I also deliver presentations and seminars at businesses events and run bite-sized learning courses for Brighton & Hove Chamber of Commerce.

Over the past 8 years, I have worked with SMEs, charities and freelancers and, over the last 2 years, have been privileged to work on an International gender equality project.

The great thing about being a social media expert is the variety of clients I get to work work with and the fact that I learn something from each project I work on.

Even though it’s an entirely different digital landscape now, I am as passionate about helping business learn about social media marketing and communications in 2017 as I was in 2009.
